I shot this at the Park Avenue Armory during the Ann Hamilton Installation called “The event of a thread” - the best I saw this year. It was such a powerful and peaceful experience, I highly recommend trying it while it’s there.

I have the feeling this past week flew by in one second, this one instead it’s going to be a long one. Christmas is only eight days away and the kid inside me always dreams of a white christmas especially in New York. While I was living in Italy, at least in Rome, snow is not as frequent as in many other parts of Italy so I never had a white Christmas until I came to New York. Is it going to happen this year? ..let’s see if we’ll survive this end of the world thing and then I’ll make plans! In the meanwhile I though to put together an outfit inspired by a snowy day. Cozy coat, high waterproof boots, a big warm puffy hat and a cross body leather bag - because I always carry fabric bags throughout the year, I found out that they don’t work as well with snow/rain - duh! Hope you’ll enjoy!

Today it was a beautiful day and I loved the train ride back to New York.

This was a good week. Despite the rain, boy so much rain, I did more this week than in the past few months all together! I took a little time off from work because there is a friend visiting from Europe and got the chance to explore the city a little more, I even went to see The Nutcracker!

Lincoln Center, New York.
