We’re almost at the end of the South Street Seaport Museum series and I’m already sad. This is the gallery dedicated to the Occupy Wall Street Exhibition. The space is really open and bright allowing the photos to be showcased in the best possible way, needless to say it’s a must see.
Hope you’ll enjoy!

It was very inspirational to see all this beauty at the South Street Seaport Museum. The new design lines and colors mixed with the beautifully designed pieces all made in new york, showcased in such environment, was just perfection to me.
One of the most beautiful elements for me were Fabiola Arias dresses (the last two in this post). The colors, the design and the fabric said elegance, sophistication and romance. What can I say, truly beautiful, wish I could do a full feature on her!

I hope you’ll enjoy them as much as I did!

This is just a little sneak peek on the South Street Seaport Museum opening. Believe me when I say it was absolutely terrific. I have been to the Seaport Museum before a couple of years back and and even the atmosphere it’s different, I am over excited about all the renovations they made since the Museum of the City of New York assumed control of it. I might become a usual!

Hope you’ll enjoy the photos because there’s more to come!

Faraone Mennella’s Muses from Christopher Filippone on Vimeo.

Better later than ever!
Finally I got the chance to edit the photos from Faraone Mennella’s 10th anniversary party. Everything was classy and glamorous, worthy their name! I am also glad to share the backstage video of the photo shoot with photographer Lorenzo Bringheli for their anniversary campaign, shot and edited by my boyfriend who’s able to turn anything into magic!
All right, enough with the chat, I am a proud peach!

I know you wouldn’t expect a post like this on It can be a Lover but I couldn’t refrain myself from sharing it. For the people in NYC who had the chance to watch the marathon live, you know what I’m talking about. The NYC marathon it’s not just a bunch of runners sharing the same path, it’s magical, I would define it as an event of pure inspiration. The concentration, the passion and the gazes of the runners are something that you can’t feel watching the marathon on tv. You have to get on the streets, and get together, and cheer for them and you’ll see all the love people give them. It’s indescribably . I saw people crying, bleeding, laughing but still all focused on their final goal. I know that I would have hugged them all of I could. You will not regret it, next year, if this one you were not there, go out and cheer for the runners. They’ll deeply and irreversibly inspire you.

Isn’t everything fabulous?

Wednesday night we went to the Brunch by Simply Orange at the Institute of Culinary Education and we managed to prepare these delicious dishes with the help, of course, of the nice and patient staff.

My favorite dishes were the Salmon Hash, the Asparagus and Goat Cheese Quiche and last but not least, the Sour Cream Coffee Cake.

I wish I could cook everyday with prompt refills of orange juice!

Here the recipes.

Hope you’ll enjoy!

I haven’t shot any live music in a while and getting back on the game with the SSION was just the best. Their show was full of energy, vibrant colors and such a wonderful live performance not to mention that the visuals and the costumes were breathtaking.

Hope you can get an idea on how great the show was!

Here they are, the beautiful Rue Magazine ladies!

The party was glamorous like the people, Issue #3, and the cocktails (as Jamie already said) and I really hope you enjoyed the picture as much as I enjoyed taking them!

A little sneak peek on the Rue Magazine Issue 3 Launch Party in NYC.
It was such a pleasure to be there. The party was as glamorous as the Rue Magazine Ladies were!
I loved it!
