This was a good week. Despite the rain, boy so much rain, I did more this week than in the past few months all together!  I took a little time off from work because there is a friend visiting from Europe and got the chance to explore the city a little more, I even went to see The Nutcracker!

Despite this was a year full of good changes and overall good things happening here and there, it was also a tough 12 month calendar to digest. I’m excited for December!

I’m so happy to share some of my favorite images from the the latest Rue Magazine Holiday 2012 issue I had the pleasure to shoot. I couldn’t wait any longer!

Fiddlehead Farm was the perfect place for the shoot, located in a town called Rhinebeck, upstate New York, just a few hours away from the city, so beautiful that I left my hearth there! Meagan Camp the talented stylist behind the whole shoot had such great and classic taste, she made everything come together seamlessly!

I had such a great time and I hope you’ll like what you see!

I officially allowed myself to get excited for Christmas!

Since I’ve moved to New York, holiday times are always the hardest part of the year, especially Christmas. Being away from family and friends is never easy especially if you’re close to them.
With the years it actually gets harder and harder because you can feel how much you’re growing apart and you can’t shake off the sensation that, like it or not, you’re missing out on so many things. Some of my friends got married, some others started their families and my parents’ wrinkles I’m not seeing.
It was a completely different feeling when I was in my early twenties and was living abroad. I felt I had all the time of my life to spend home, why stay there? ..and spending time with my parents? ..oh so boring! It wasn’t till later, down the road, that I start feeling like I do right now. It’s tough, I admit it, but I feel so lucky to have met some pretty amazing people in New York that I love and respect and last but not least I feel so so lucky to have a partner that I love and admire who, with our dog, make my home no matter where we are.

Ok now, enough with the emotional talk (how did I got here..) and back to the facts. I am officially excited for Christmas, who isn’t?!? So I’m sharing a little sneak peek on a recent holiday shoot for Rue Magazine. Wait to see the whole thing.. it’s so so pretty!
